As our first trip from Singapore, we decided to go to Bintan, Indonesia, which is just an hour away from Singapore by ferry. Despite being so close it’s completely different from Singapore: nature, relax and really clear waters.

As a detail, if you go to a public beach (one that doesn’t belong to the resort you are staying in), locals will swim completely dressed and think that you are a celebrity and take photos with you.

Como primer viaje desde Singapur, decidimos tomar un ferry e ir a Bintan, en Indonesia.La isla está solamente a una hora de Singapur pero es totalmente diferente: hay naturaleza, te puedes relajar y el agua del mar está realmente limpia.

Como detalle a tener en mente si vas a una playa pública (es decir, que no pertenezca al resort donde te alojes), los indonesios de la zona se meten en el agua completamente vestidos e intentan sacarse fotos contigo porque creen que los turistas son celebrities.
