This was a really unexpectedly cool trip. We had some days off because of a public holiday that I can’t remember now. We wanted to get the Open Water Diver certificate and we asked around what was a nice and cheap place to do it and a friend told us that Perhentian was really a good idea.

The Perhentian islands are 2 islands in Malaysia, Besar (the big one) and Kecil (the small one). We had the diving course in Turtle Bay Divers and it was really amazing. After diving in so many places, I can safely say that Perhentian has the most marine life you can imagine and everything is really untouched. Highly recommend it!

Uno de los viajes más last-minute que hemos hecho. Teníamos unos 4 días con los que no sabíamos qué hacer y estuvimos preguntando a nuestros amigos dónde había buen buceo, ya que queríamos sacarnos el Open Water. Una amiga nos comentó que ella había estado en Perhentian y que era realmente bonito, así que allí fuimos.
Las islas Perhentian son dos islas de Malasia, la isla Besar (grande) y la isla Kecil (pequeña). Nosotros nos sacamos el certificado en Turtle Bay Divers, en la isla Kecil y fue increíble. Éramos 2 personas para el instructor y vimos muchísima vida marina. De todos los sitios donde he buceado, definitivamente Perhentian es el mejor.
