Another 4 days trip. This time we did it in November and it was the perfect season, it wasn’t as hot as it usually is and there weren’t many tourists. We flew directly with Emirates and it was a really good choice. We did a tour throughout the whole island, starting from Colombo, where we landed, then going to the are of Sigiriya, where we climbed on top of the rock, that used to be a temple. Then, we drove to Pinnawala, to an elephant orphanage, where they rescue abandoned or lost elephants until they are old enough to join a group of savage elephants. After that we went to Kandy, a gorgeous city in the middle of the island, with the most important temple and amazing views of the country.  And lastly, we went to Nurwita Eliya, to see the tea plantations and enjoy ourselves a bit of tea.

Otra vez usamos 4 días para ir de viaje. Esta vez fue en noviembre y fuimos a Sri Lanka, donde disfrutamos muchísimo, no nos esperábamos que fuese tan bonito y auténtico. Hicimos un tour por dentro de la isla, empezando en Colombo, el aeropuerto donde aterrizamos. Luego fuimos a Sigiriya, a escalar una roca la cual fue convertida en templo hace siglos y aún permanece en su forma original. Después fuimos a Pinnawala, en un orfanato de elefantes, donde rescatan a elefantes abandonados o perdidos para prepararlos para enfrentarse de nuevo a la naturaleza y unirse a una manada de elefantes. La siguiente parada fue Kandy, una ciudad con muchísimo encanto y el templo más importante de Sri Lanka. Y finalmente a Nurwita Eliya, a ver las plantaciones de te y disfrutar de los paisajes nosotros mismos.
