Shanghai

We loved Shanghai! Actually, after being in Beijing, Shanghai looks more like the capital of China, so cosmopolitan, big and well connected.

As it was the first time we went there, we wanted to get a nice pic of the skyline, which you can take from the Bund (I wouldn’t advise to use the Bund underpass, which costs 50¥ and it’s not so special). We crossed from the Pearl building to the other side simply with the subway (4¥) to Nanjing East Road. Bonus: we did some window shopping on our way. If you want to take a pic of the skyline at night, with all the lights on, do it before 10pm as some buildings will turn off their lights.

After that, we spent our second day in Disneyland Shanghai, which we loved! Especially the Tomorrowland section, which has the coolest rides (like Tron). At 8pm the fireworks at the fairytale castle will start, so make sure you get a nice spot but don’t lose your time waiting there.

Our last day there we went to the Yu Yuan park area, where you can have really nice and authentic dim sum and dumplings and enjoy the classic style park, you can spend hours there!
