Beijing was kind of a disappointment to us, we expected it to be more modern to be a post olympic city. Anyway, we enjoyed the Great Wall! And we have some tips: go to Mutianyu area for a less crowded environment, bring some food with you if you want to do a long trekking and go any time of the year! In winter, snow makes it magical, in spring, the cherry blossom makes it gorgeous and in summer the green fields make the wall pop! We chose to go up with the cable car and to go down through the toboggan, it was really fun!

We also visited the forbidden city and the Temple of Heavens, both worth spending one day or long hours in them and to listen to their stories in the audio guides offered, which are usually 40¥ for non-Chinese.
