We visited Palma de Mallorca, where Guillem’s relatives stay. The first days, we visited Bellver, the port, the Cathedral and amazing restaurants in Palma like the Casa Gallega and Can Pedro.

The second day, we started our route:

We took the GR221 in order to walk across the Serra de Tramuntana. This route is called “The Dry Stone route” because of the paths nature and we followed these sections:

Palma – Valldemossa – Deià – Port de Sòller – Sòller

From Valldemossa to Deià, we walked more than 4 hours and once we got there, it was crazy cold. The coldest town we have ever been in and the most uncomfortable hostel: Can Boí.

PORT DE SÒLLERIMG_20191231_110055IMG_20191231_120143IMG-20200101-WA0029

From Deià to Port de Sòller, we walked about 2 hours. In Port de Sòller we had an amazing paella, the coastline is beautiful.

From Port de Sòller to Sòller, we walked around 2 hours and we spent our last day of the year there. The hostel we stayed in was Hostel Sóller, which was quite cool and had amazing installations.

The last day took us around 5 hours to do the whole walk: Biniaraix, Barranc de Biniaraix i Coll de l’Ofre. We found many donkeys and goats along the way.

Then, back in Palma, we took care of ourselves, had plenty of sleep and sweets in Capuccino and other yummy places like churros con chocolate in El Corte Inglés.
