Michelin star escape at L’O

This was an amazing escape. We booked a night at the restaurant  L’O and a stay in the hotel with the breakfast next morning and an experience in ALICIA that same morning. It all cost us around 175€ per person and it was a real amazing experience.

The hotel is 45 minutes away from Barcelona by car and almost 3 hours by train. We took the car and it was way more efficient.

The hotel is placed almost in the middle of nowhere, just by the Llobregat river and you can take one of their bikes to ride around the area.

The dinner at L’O is quite amazing and it uses season and proximity products. We started off with a house starter, a mini taco with corn and a vermouth.IMG_20200222_210514IMG_20200222_211234

The ALICIA experience (alimentació + ciència) explains their project, based on smarter, sustainable and more adapted to humans food. They keep researching with lots of brands and businesses who work with massive catering services (hotels, schools, elder people residences, airlines…), definitely worth the visit.
