The most anticipated trip by far! We were expecting to get to Maldives and find constant paradise, but sadly, paradise is veeery expensive, so the smartest formula to make our bank accounts survive this trip was to stay in one of the public islands in Maldives, Malé. The rest of the islands except a few are private resorts and the prices per night are around $500, so what we did was to stay in Malé, where the prices are 10 times cheaper and there were plenty of activities. The diving is amazing in Maldives, I recon that, even in the shallowest reeves.

And you might ask “how did you get those photos then?”. Easy: all the hotels in public islands offer day trips to he private resorts islands and the prices are around $80. Highly recommended!

El viaje más esperado de todo el año! Nuestra idea era llegar a Maldivas y encontrar un sinfín de paraíso a nuestro alrededor, y eso es posible, pero pagando muuucho dinero. Para que nuestras carteras sobrevivieran al viaje, la mejor fórmula era hospedarse en las islas públicas, como Malé, donde los precios son 10 veces más baratos que en los resorts y podíamos aprovechar muchísimas actividades acuáticas.
Al ver las fotos os podéis preguntar “¿entonces de dónde has sacado esas fotos?” fácil, la mayoría de hoteles o centros de actividades ofrecen viajes de un día a resorts privados por unos $80, cuando hospedarse una noche allí costaría fácilmente $500. Intentadlo!
