Yangon, Bagan, Mandalay, Kalaw, Inle Lake. This was the tour I did in Myanmar as a solo traveler.

I landed in Yangon, the main city and the closest to “urban city” you can find in Myanmar. I took a night bus from there to Bagan, the most popular area of the country, the famous land of pagodas and hot air balloons. From Bagan to Mandalay I also took a bus and I spent 2 days there, visiting the famous Amarapura bridge (famous for being the cover of the Lonely Planet guide of South East Asia), and other marvels. From Mandalay, I took a bus to Kalaw, the best place to treck all the way to Inle Lake, which shows you amazing tribes on the way. If you have googled Inle Lake, the images you see is just what you will see in the lake.

Aterricé en Yangon, la capital actual de Myanmar y lo más parecido a una ciudad que se puede encontrar allí. Desde Yangón cogí un bus nocturno a Mandalay, antigua capital y ciudad del puente de Amarapura entre otras maravillas como templos de monjas budistas. Desde Mandalay cogí otro bus (sí, los buses son cómodos, seguros, baratos y más efectivos que tomar un vuelo interno) hacia Kalaw, la mejor area para empezar una caminata hacia Inle Lake, eso sí, no hay nada que hacer allí. En la caminata vimos tribus super interesantes y muchísimas plantaciones. Si habéis buscado en Google Inle Lake, es exactamente como eso, no decepciona.
